MON JAN 15 Newsletter

Happy MLK Day Buffalo!

Today isn’t just another day off, but rather a chance to honor King's legacy during the Civil Rights Movement.

Fun Fact: MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated by Congress as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer in their local communities. What does this mean for you and me? Let’s volunteer!

If you are looking to give back right here in WNY, we have a number of volunteer opportunities to get involved in, including our latest opportunity with the Hearts for the Homeless below!

Vol 19: Hearts for the Homeless

In this weeks feature for Help Out Buffalo, we’re highlighting Hearts for the Homeless. Hearts for the Homeless serves the homeless and those in need all around WNY. We spent the morning volunteering at one of their food pantries. We started by stocking the fridge and organizing the shelves making this pantry a normal shopping experience for those planning to stop by. Check out the video from our recent visit and learn more about the ways you can volunteer below!
