Happy MLK Day Buffalo!

Today isn’t just another day off, but rather a chance to honor King's legacy during the Civil Rights Movement.

Fun Fact: MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated by Congress as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer in their local communities. What does this mean for you and me? Let’s volunteer!

In this weeks feature for Help Out Buffalo, we’re highlighting Hearts for the Homeless. Hearts for the Homeless serves the homeless and those in need all around WNY. We spent the morning volunteering at one of their food pantries. We started by stocking the fridge and organizing the shelves making this pantry a normal shopping experience for those planning to stop by.
